• Receive on-the-job training with our skilled install techs with the opportunity to move into a lead installer role within 2 years.

LanChester Grill & Hearth is looking for a full-time Installer to help us create beautiful indoor and outdoor living spaces around Lancaster, Chester, and Delaware County. We provide a complete selection of stoves, fireplaces, grills, and custom outdoor kitchens. Anyone joining our team agrees with our mission of providing the best service, the highest quality products, and building customer relationships.

If you're tired of working in the wind, snow, and rain and have 2-5 years of work experience in carpentry, electrical fields, appliance installer, or HVAC technician, we'd love to provide on-the-job training to become a certified fireplace installer with us.

Our Ideal Installer:

• Experienced: Has a background in carpentry and related fields such as a handyperson, electrician's helper, appliance installer, HVAC technician, etc.
• Certification: We will help you become certified in the fireplace industry at no cost, PLUS a completion bonus!
• Problem-Solver: Can think on your feet and use your past construction knowledge to come up with reasonable solutions when faced with an install challenge.
• Respectful: We are working in our client's homes. We ask that our installers maintain a clean workspace, an appropriate appearance, and use clean language.
• Active: Must lift 125 lbs, climb a ladder/roof, use hand tools, run wiring, etc.
• Travel: Local work within a 40-mile radius of the shop. Must have a reasonably clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test.
• Tools: Must own hand tools or toolbox.

What We Offer Our Installer:

• $25 /hour, depending on experience
• Consistent full-time work, Mon-Fri, 7 am to 5 pm (45 hours/week)
